Company History
Benke GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 2003 in Diepoldsau, Switzerland, and remains family-run to this day. In the beginning, the company specialised in the distribution of disposable gloves and individual microfibre cloths. Demand for additional microfibre products such as mop covers, spectacle cloths and many other items quickly increased. As a result, we expanded our range and began producing exclusive microfibre products — such as our signature dish towel — according to our own specifications. Our product development and our ability to continuously respond to specific customer needs have given the company significant momentum.
At the same time, we expanded our range of premium cleaning products under the philosophy “100% Made in Switzerland”. This principle remains unchanged to this day — and will continue to guide us in the future.
Benke GmbH Today
Through its own development and production of cleaning products, as well as direct access to manufacturing facilities worldwide, Benke GmbH today benefits from a broad network of partners and can respond directly to customer needs. Whether for private label solutions or custom-made microfibre products, our flexibility allows us to fulfil almost any individual request. In addition, the company has a gentleman’s agreement with Meditrade, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of disposable gloves.
At the beginning of 2020, we secured the exclusive sales rights for specially patented grout brushes and shower squeegees throughout Switzerland. We also founded a second company specialising in textile and cosmetic products in the fields of beauty, wellness, and sports. Not only our product range but also our partnerships with manufacturing facilities are continuously expanding. Thanks to a growing network of resellers, our products are now available in an increasing number of stores and partner shops.
Since 2008, the headquarters of Benke GmbH have been located in Widnau.

Thanks to our own production without intermediaries, our customers benefit from the best prices as well as flexible finishing and packaging options.

Our microfibre cloths come from trusted production facilities in Korea, China, and Vietnam.
