Stone Protection Set

The Stone Protection Set protects all absorbent natural and artificial stone surfaces from oil, grease, and water stains. Benke Stone Protection does not alter the appearance of the stone—there is no gloss or darkening. It is ideal for stain-repellent treatment of floors in kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms, tables, countertops, terrace slabs, walkways, and much more.

Benke Stone Protection is ready to use and based on impregnating agents dissolved in water-soluble organic solvents and water. Special water- and oil-repellent substances prevent the penetration of oil, grease, dirt, and moisture. The reduced moisture absorption protects against algae and moss growth. The pores are not sealed, so no film is formed, and the natural appearance remains intact. Stone protection can be applied to untreated or already siliconized slabs. The impregnation significantly eases cleaning, increases slip resistance, reduces maintenance costs, and enhances the value retention.

Applications

For indoor and outdoor use, on newly laid and already installed slabs.
For all absorbent natural and artificial stone surfaces such as:

• Porcelain stoneware and absorbent joints.

Not suitable for: Polished, glazed, and non-absorbent coverings.

Processing
Perform the final cleaning before application.
Vacuum or sweep the floor. Clean heavily soiled stone with the Basic Cleaner Multinet. Then rinse thoroughly with water to remove any detergent residues and let dry completely. Multinet does not affect the impregnation and can be used later as a basic cleaner for heavy contamination. The product is ready to use and can be applied undiluted on clean, dry floors, depending on absorbency, 1-2 times evenly with a brush, roller, or mop.
Optimal object temperature: 12-25°C.

Outdoor use: Do not apply if rain is expected or in direct sunlight.
Indoor use: Turn off underfloor heating 12 hours before impregnation.

IMPORTANT:
The stone impregnation may only be applied to completely dry and absorbent surfaces. It is recommended to perform a test area.

Consumption
First impregnation: approx. 60 – 100 grams per m² / 1 liter in the set for approx. 12 m².
Re-impregnation: approx. 30 – 50 grams per m².
Apply only as much as the flooring can absorb; avoid puddles.
For particularly absorbent substrates, repeat the process after 10 minutes.
The floor is walkable again after approx. 4 hours.
Full impregnation effect after 24 hours.
