Cleaning stainless steel
For light dirt, pre-clean with a damp microfibre all-purpose cloth and a little washing-up liquid, then dry with a microfibre dishcloth or all-purpose cloth. For heavy dirt and limescale stains, apply Benke cleaning stone using the supplied yellow sponge. Rinse the stainless steel several times with clean water and dry with a microfibre dishcloth or all-purpose cloth.
Removing limescale
Unscrew the tap aerator and place it in a container filled with Alpolan descaler. Leave it to soak for about half an hour, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the process if limescale deposits remain. Reattach the aerator afterwards. For the tap itself, apply a small amount of undiluted Alpolan to a sponge and wipe the surface. Then rinse with clean water and dry the tap with a dishcloth or all-purpose cloth.
Cleaning the drain
Pour about 1/2 litre of undiluted drain cleaner into the drain. Leave to act for at least one hour. Then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. For severe blockages, allow the cleaner to work for a longer period before rinsing. Siphons that tend to clog frequently can be treated preventively every four weeks with about 1/4 litre of the cleaner.
Cleaning the cooker hood
Remove the filters from the cooker hood and generously pour Multinet grease remover over them above the sink. Leave to act. Meanwhile, apply Multinet grease remover to a sponge and foam up the fixed parts of the hood. The grease will dissolve; then wipe several times with a microfibre cloth until no traces of Multinet remain. Scrub the filters with a sponge to remove the dissolved grease, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if any grease remains. Reinsert the filters and run the hood for 5 minutes.
Cleaning the oven
Spray the grill cleaner undiluted or apply evenly with a cloth. Caution: wear gloves! Allow to act. Then clean with a sponge or microfibre cloth and rinse with water.
Items that come into contact with food must be rinsed with water before use.
Do not use on aluminium or catalytic self-cleaning ovens.
Cleaning the coffee machine
If the water flow slows down or only drips through, it’s time to descale your coffee machine. Pour 500 ml of water and 100 ml of Calc Clean into the water tank. Run the solution through without any waiting time, then rinse the appliance thoroughly with clean water.
If your machine has an automatic descaling programme, please refer to the user manual.
