Stains in the grout

Bathroom tile joints become clean again with chlorine. Dissolve a chlorine tablet in hot water, leave to act briefly, then rinse or wipe off.

  • A toothbrush or sponge helps to scrub the joints.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a microfibre cloth.
  • Caution: mould is toxic – always wear gloves.

Cleaning the drain

Is the water in your shower not draining? Is the drain full of hair? Is your washbasin filling up to the overflow? With Siffolex drain cleaner, drains, siphons and pipes are cleaned in one step and effectively protected against new deposits, as the treated sections allow water to flow more easily.

  • Pour the drain cleaner into the drain and leave to act for about 1 hour.
  • Then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
  • For preventive care, treat every four weeks with approx. ¼ litre.

Cleaning shower curtains

Many shower curtains can be washed in the washing machine – even plastic ones tolerate a 40 °C wash cycle. To prevent or remove mould, shower curtains can be effectively prewashed or soaked once with chlorine.

  • Dissolve a chlorine tablet in warm water.
  • Add the solution to the washing machine for the prewash cycle.
  • Remove the shower curtain and reinstall it.

Cleaning glass showers

Spray the descaler onto streaks and limescale deposits, leave to act briefly, then rub with a microfibre cloth. Rinse with warm water and dry, or remove excess water with a soft squeegee (for heavy limescale, repeat the process once or twice).

Stubborn dirt can also be removed with a cleaning stone. Moisten the sponge, rub it on the stone and apply the foam to the glass surface. Then rinse again with warm water and dry with a cloth.
